Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani Muaythai fighter from Peru as well as a mixed martial arts artist fighting for UFC. UFC at the flyweight division, is currently an Kyrgyzstani. In 2018, she resigned from the contest and started participating in Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina TKO'd Nievera with her striking skills that were superior during the clinch final round by using knees on the body. After this win, Antonina received a UFC contract. Antonina was offered the UFC contract following her victory. Shevchenko beat Roxanne Modafferi via split decision fight after winning the first fight by an unanimous decision. Antonina bounced back from the loss, and defeated Lucie Pudilova on UFC on ESPN Covington vs. Lawler via second-round rear-naked choke submission and earned the prize of the night in the fight. Shevchenko was 2-2 in her three subsequent matches she won against Ariane Lipski while falling to Katlyn Clarkagian as well as Andrea Lee.
